Anyone can be a vacation rental manager, but not everyone can be a professional vacation rental manager. With increased regulation on the horizon, it is important for the future of the industry that vacation rentals are run professionally, including superb customer service, being good neighbors, involvement in local government, paying all applicable fees and taxes, and contributing to the local economy. I am passionate about the vacation rental industry and serve as the Vice President of the Florida Vacation Rental Managers Association (Florida VRMA). I strive to ensure our industry continues to be regulated and looked at in a positive light. It is my goal to stay involved on all of the current trends in our industry to provide you with the best in management services.
With more than 15 years of experience in real estate and vacation rental management, I am excited to be part of the Great Ocean Condos and Homes Team as the Chief Operating Officer. I come to the team from Global Resort Homes where I served as Business Development Director, successful in helping double the size of the company and win the Central Florida Vacation Rental Management Company of the year award in 2015. With my vast experience in the industry and having managed over 400 vacation rental properties, I know my signature approach to property management will help guide Great Ocean Condos and Homes into a prosperous future for its owners and guests.
I am a Florida native, born and raised here in Central Florida.
I received a B.S. Degree in Economics from the University of Central Florida in 2001. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering, playing golf, boating, reading and most of all spending time with my family and friends.

After growing up in South Florida and graduating from Florida State University in Tallahassee, I currently reside with my family in Central Florida. I have 5 children from elementary through college age! In 2006 I was able to realize my dream of owning a condo on New Smyrna Beach. Though I had no experience in the “rental world,” I was very business minded. Applying my past work experiences, years of travel, and a high standard of excellence to managing my own vacation rental property, it wasn’t long before I began to see a 100% increase in my condo’s annual rental income. I soon realized that I was better equipped to manage my property than my complex’s on-site office. More importantly, through my own travel experiences, I understood the way that guests want to be treated. I understood how important it is to provide a home-away-from-home atmosphere that would draw families back to my unit year after year. While others in the rental market will tell you that the economy is suffering and travel is at an all time low, I have a different opinion. Last year alone I was able to rent my 2/2 in Sea Coast Gardens for 34 weeks of the year! After spending months helping establish the Rental Corporation at my complex, I had owners standing in line asking me to handle their rentals. Now, here I am today with GreatOceanCondos.com. My staff is incredible and our online booking system is the only of its kind in NSB. We are able to provide premium customer service to both our owners and our guests because our office never closes! Definitions.–As used in this chapter, the term: 2. “Nontransient public lodging establishment” means any unit, group of units, dwelling, building, or group of buildings within a single complex of buildings which is rented to guests for periods of at least 30 days or 1 calendar month, whichever is less, or which is advertised or held out to the public as a place regularly rented to guests for periods of at least 30 days or 1 calendar month. 509.242 Public lodging establishments; classifications.– (1) A public lodging establishment shall be classified as a hotel, motel, resort condominium, nontransient apartment, transient apartment, roominghouse, bed and breakfast inn, or resort dwelling if the establishment satisfies the following criteria: (c) Resort condominium.–A resort condominium is any unit or group of units in a condominium, cooperative, or timeshare plan which is rented more than three times in a calendar year for periods of less than 30 days or 1 calendar month, whichever is less, or which is advertised or held out to the public as a place regularly rented for periods of less than 30 days or 1 calendar month, whichever is less.
